Donna L. Kissack, 70, of Scottsbluff, died Monday, May 27, 2013 at Heritage Living Center in St. Paul, Nebraska.

Donna was born January 13, 1943 in Scottsbluff, NE to Owen and Neva (Olsen) Scott.

She graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1961.

After high school she took some college courses at WNCC and then followed her heart and married Art Kissack on June 28, 1962 in Scottsbluff.

She and Art started their married life in Laramie, Wyoming where Donna actively supported her husband as he earned his college degree and played football. One year later they started their family. Donna was able to be a stay at home mom for several years for daughter Julie and son Shaun.

Later, she worked as a teacher's aide for Cheyenne Public Schools, Director of the Ogallala Senior Citizen's Center, Secretarial positions in both Ogallala and Scottsbluff, and as an Assistant Social Services Director for Beverly Nursing Home in Scottsbluff.

Donna was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She served as a Deacon and was a Stephen Minister for many years. She enjoyed fellowshipping with others in the small groups that were apart of her church.

Donna thoroughly enjoyed people. She was involved in card clubs and book clubs and loved going on outings with her friends. She always looked forward to her trips with her close friends from high school. She was an organizer and a planner. She took great pride in planning and organizing high school reunions and family gatherings. Watching the Denver Broncos and listening to high school football games on the radio was something she always looked forward to doing. She was definitely an avid sports fan. She supported her husband in all of his years of coaching and watched as many of her grandchildren's sporting events as she could.

This past year, she enjoyed watching Tiger Woods in his golf tournaments. Every year she eagerly anticipated the start of Dancing with the Stars. She enjoyed watching all of the dances and picking her favorite competitors.

Her husband, Arthur Kissack, her parents, sister Elaine Ellis, and two infant brothers, preceded Donna in death.

Cremation, Burial unknown.
