Prince Vittorio Amedeo Theodore di Savoia was the son of Charles Emmanuel III, Duke of Savoy, King of Sardinia and his first wife, Countess Palatine Anne Christine von Sulzbach.

Born in the Royal Palace in Turin on March 7, 1723, he was the heir apparent to his father; sadly, the joyous occasion of his birth was overshadowed by the death of his young mother less than a week later.

He died on August 11, 1725 at the age of two years.
