Georgia Pearl Taylor, age 96, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 peacefully at her home in Redwater, Texas. She was born January 26, 1920 in Minton, Texas to George and Eta Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty eight years, Ray Taylor.

She is survived by two daughters: Miriam Sue Parr and her husband Bobby of Hughes Springs Texas; Dorothy Lou Taylor of Redwater, Texas; one son: Thomas Ray Taylor, Jr. and his wife Cindy of Round Rock, Texas; four grandchildren: Suzanne Boyd, Sandra Latham, Brandon Taylor and Bret Taylor; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters: Laverne Caudle, Patsy McElwee and Wanda Lou Vickers; one brother: Rodney Rogers; and a number of friends and other relatives. The family would like to give a special thanks to caregiver, Mary Bailey.

Mrs. Taylor was a lifelong member of the Redwater Church of Christ as well as a citizen of the Redwater Community for eighty years. She was also a member of the Redwater Garden Club.

Funeral services will be. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with Jay Launius officiating. Burial will be in Redwater Cemetery.
