He was born on August 19th 1935 in Port Henry, N.Y. and was a graduate of Hadley Luzerne Central School.
He attended Springfield College, Springfield, MA and joined the United States Marine Corps, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine division from 1954-1955, Victor earned the Expert Rifle Badge and the National Defense Service Medal.
He married Gretchen Gettinger on Mar. 17, 1973 at Rockwell Falls Presbyterian Church in Lake Luzerne.
Victor was past president of the Hadley Luzerne Lions Club.
He was Supervisor of the Town of Lake Luzerne for 18 years serving as chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Warren County for 4 years.
Victor started his own insurance agency, B.V.Grant's Insurance Agency, in 1960 in Lake Luzerne. He and his wife, Gretchen, operated it until 2000.
If he had his choice,Victor would have spent his days hunting, fishing and playing golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Violet Grant and his dear friends George Doherty Sr., and Ted Hall.
Burial at Holy Infancy Cemetery in Lake Luzerne, N.Y. will be at the convenience of the family.
