Faye Pauline Warner Reed, 79, of Brodheadsville, died on Saturday, Dec. 16, in the VNA/Hospice House in East Stroudsburg, after a brief illness with cancer.
She was the wife of Gene L. Reed, at home, and they observed their 30th wedding anniversary in November.
Also living at home with them was their granddaughter, Jennifer Visser.
Born in Elizabethville, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Klinger and Mayme Matilda Witmyre Wise.
She was a graduate of Churchmans Business College.
She attended Mount Eaton Church in Saylorsburg and she was a past president of Woman's Aglow in Stroudsburg.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Charles Warner II and his wife, Patti, of Neola; three stepsons, Rick Reed and his wife, Mary Ann, of Stroudsburg, Mike Reed and his wife, Debbie, of Hazleton, and Steve Reed and his girlfriend, Penny Peitsch, of Florida; two stepdaughters, Lisa Wagner and her husband, Darrell, of Brodheadsville and Christy Davis of Stroudsburg; two brothers, Daniel Richard Wise and his wife, Phyllis, of Tannersville, and Wayne Franklin Wise and his wife, Jeanette, of Allentown; two sisters, Shirley Wise Snyder and her husband, Harold, of Saylorsburg and June Wise Feller Garrison Ott and her husband, Harold Ott, of Brooksville, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Visser; and a sister, Joanna Ruth Wise.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be held in the Buena Vista Cemetery in Brodheadsville.
Viewing hours will be private.
