Virginia Mae Allen Corbin was born April 25, 1918 in Wadesboro, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Henry Luther & Mary Etta Carpenter Allen. Her brothers were Edwin Allen, and sisters Belle Seltz, Sarah Allen.
Virginia graduated in 1936 from Wadesboro High School.
She married Edward H. Corbin January 1,1945. Her children were Ronald A. Corbin & Rick J. Corbin.
Virginia was a homemaker and a member of the Morristown Order of Eastern Star.
She was a member of the Fountaintown Christian Church and the Mite Society.
Frazier funeral home were in charge of funeral arrangemetns. Michael Smith officiated her funeral. She was buried in the Fountaintown Cemetery.
