Lester Charles Edwards, 86, of Pitcairn, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Ann (Brendlinger) Edwards; father of Susan E. (Edwards) Adams, Sally A. (Richard) Renn and the late Sandra Lynn Larson; also survived by son-in-law , John Larson. He was the brother of Goldie, Judy, Nancy and Betty and the late Elvin "Nook", Robert, Clarence "Punce" and Donna; grand-father of Lindsay (Al), Christopher (Cory), Kristie (Ali), Dianna (Steve), Brian (Dara), Zachary and the late Michael; great-grandfather of Emma, Amira, Ella, Brynn, Avery, Claire, Yasmeen, Adelynn, Easton and Cole; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lester was an Army Air Corps veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to8 p.m. Friday at the WM. O. PEARCE FUNERAL HOME INC., 318 Wall Ave., Pitcairn, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday.
