Died peacefully on Thursday, September 29, 2016, at the age of 81.

She is survived by her husband, Carroll W. Lanier; her son Mark W. Lanier, his wife Tara and daughter Anne; her son Corrie P. Lanier, his wife Paula and his children Patrick and Grace; and her daughter Maureen L. Newman, husband Pete and children Connor, Hannah, Cole, Emma, and Peter. She is also survived by her sister Gerry Butcher.

She is preceded in death by her parents Byron and Marietta and siblings Shirley, LeMerle, Rowena, Jackie, and Francis.

She was co-owner of Admiral Travel and spent her life pursuing her passion for seeing the world.

Visiting hours will be observed on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home. Visiting hours will resume on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. George Catholic Church. Interment to follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
