Barney Joe Ahgoon, Jr., went to be with the Lord on September 9, 2016.
Barney was 44 year old and was born April 25, 1972 in Phoenix, ARizona to Barney Joe Ahgoon, Sr., and Christina F. Timeche. He graduated from Maryvale High School in 1990. He attended Phoenix Community College in which he studied Business Administration. He worked as a Supervisor at PGA Tour Shop. Barney was a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma. He was a huge Boomer Sooner fan along with the Phoenix Cardinals. He enjoyed being with family and friends, especially his daughter and two nieces.
Survivors include his father and his companion Sharon; his mother; one and only daughter Nicoyah Cayatineto; one sister Susan and husband Joe Arenivar, Jr.; grandmother Catherine Timeche and William Timeche and two nieces Catalina and Maryanna Arenivar; and a host of aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother Bruce Dewey Ahgoon; grandparents Dewey and Susie GOOMBI Ahgoon of Mountain View, Oklahoma and grandfather Bruce Timeche of Phoenix, Arizona.
Visitation was held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday September 15, 2016.
A funeral service was held from 10:00 a.m until 11:00 a.m., Friday September 16, 2016 at Lowmans Arizona Funeral Home with interment following at Greenwood Memory Lawn. The services were under the direction of Lowmans Arizona Funeral Home, Phoenix, Arizona.
