Mr. Von Wayne Smith, age 79 of Dickson County, died Tuesday April 28, 2015 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. Mr. Smith will be cremated and there are no services planned at this time.
Wayne, a retired engineer, was a native of Nashville, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Von Bulow Smith and Lena Franks Smith.
He received a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Engineering from the University of Tennessee Nashville. He was retired from Ford Glass Company where he was employed for 35 years.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalind Smith of Dickson, TN; two daughters, Tina Smith Romine of Dickson, TN; Michelle Smith Vazin of Nashville, TN; three grandchildren, Matthew Romine of Dickson, TN; Marc Romine of Clarksville, TN; Jasmine Vazin of Knoxville, TN.
