ALICE K. HECKARD
Alice K. Heckard of Duncannon died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2006.

She was born in Harrisburg to the late Charles and Lena (Michael) Waltman.

She enjoyed taking care of her family, working crossword puzzles and reading.

She was the widow of John H. Heckard Sr., who died in June of 1998.

Surviving are two sons, Donald Heckard of Camp Hill and Kenneth Pike (Previous Marriage: Robert R Pike) of New Bloomfield; five daughters, Alice Cook, Joan Roush and Diane Beane, all of Duncannon, and Linda Metz and Cindy Stansfield, both of Marysville; 18 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna (Pike) Luther (Previous Marriage: Robert R Pike), who died in 1990.

She was Cremated and Burial was in Paxtang Cemetery, her ashes are buried on top of her mothers grave.

Auer Memorial Home and Cremation Services, Harrisburg, handled arrangements.
