Funeral services for Emma Anliker were held on Thursday, February 8th, 1979, at 10:30 A.M. from the Brown Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Dunn, officiated.
Serving as casket bearers were Joe Miller, Jerman Miller, Howard Lohr, Virgil Lee, Wilbur Hendricks and Stanley Parker.
Final resting Place, Evergreen Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by the Brown Funeral Home in Lohrville, Iowa.
Emma Anliker, the daugher of Nickolas and Anna Marie Lerch Anliker, was born July 6, 1898, on a farm near Lohrville, Iowa, and departed this life, February 5, 1979, at the Sunny Knoll Care Centre in Rockwell City, Iowa. She lived her life to the age of 80 years, 6 months, and 29 days.
Emma received her education in a rural school near Lohrville. During her life time she helped her brother and sister on their farm.
She has made her home at the Sunny Knoll Care Centre in Rockwell City, Iowa, for the past several years.
Emma was a member of the Methodist Church in Lohrville and a present honorary member of the United Methodist Women.
She is survived by three nephews; Tom, Larry and Bill Riffel, and two neices, Mrs. Perry Holland and Mrs. Rudolph Potratz and one sister, Mrs. John Archer of Oakridge, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents, 7 brothers and 2 sisters.
