The remains of Austin V. Felt were borne to their final resting place in Linwood Cemetery this afternoon following funeral services which were held at the home, 448 West Tompkins Street, this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Mr. Thane of Canton, a former pastor of the Central Congregational Church, was in charge of the service.
These friends served as pallbearers: Messrs. George W. Dunlap, K.T. Richards, E.S. Tobey, F.W. Emery, P.F. Brown and J.E. McKamy.
Among the out of town relatives at the funeral were a brother of the deceased, Charles Felt, Anita, Iowa; a cousin, Mrs. Ella Coe, Quincy; and a nephew and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Felt, Long Beach, CA. Walter Felt has been visiting in Galesburg for the past week or more while Mrs. Felt joined him here Saturday.
