Melvin E. Weber, 84, of Perryville died September 29, 2016 at his residence in Perryville, MO.

He was born July 18, 1932 in Perry County, MO, son of Paul and Emma (Richter) Weber.He and Rose Anna Sutterer were married on May 16, 1959. She survives in Perryville, MO.

He was with the City of Perryville Gas Dept. He later was a meter reader. He was a member Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Other survivors include one daughter, Linda Weber (Bill Taylor) of Pensacola, FL; two brothers, Richard (Margaret) Weber of Perryville, Harlen (Janet) Weber of Jackson; two step grandchildren, Billy (Jamie) Taylor and Kathy (Vincent) Williams; and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Meta Hoehn, Lorna Steffens, Sylvia Meyer, Alice Leimbach; and one brother, Ruben Weber.

Visitation will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Monday, October 3 from 8:30 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am with Rev. Thomas Handrick officiating. Burial in church cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Southeast Hospice
