Jimmy Neal "Jim" Meherg, of Winfield, passed away Wednesday at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lola Galloway Meherg, brothers, Joel and Banks Meherg and a sister, Christine Meherg Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2016 from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in the Old Union Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. (service time) on Friday at the funeral home.
