He was born November 28, 1947 in Loris, a son of the late Corbet Neil Phipps Sr. and Mary Parker Phipps.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Julie Hardee; a half sister, Virginia Tyler and a half brother, L. D. Tyler.
Larry was a loving husband, brother and brother-in-law. He was a very hard worker and enjoyed working with the City of Conway for fifteen years. Larry was an avid outdoors person. He loved talking to others about the Lord.
Mr. Phipps is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Carrie Lee Phipps and two brothers, Corbet Neil Phipps Jr. (Joyce) and Charles Kenneth Phipps.
A Graveside Service will be held 2pm Friday, July 29, 2016 at Westside Memorial Gardens Cemetery with J. C. Gasque officiating.
