Krewson -- In the Fairview church, Iowa, Oct. 30, 1899, of consumption, Bro Wm. A. Krewson, son of Lewis and Sister Phoebe Krewson, aged 32 years and 2 days. He was born in Appanoose County, Iowa, Oct. 28, 1867. June 21, 1885 he united with the Brethren Church. Dec. 23, 1888, he was
united in marriage to Rachel Phillips. To them were born three sons and one daughter. Sept. 28, 1889 he was elected to the ministry. Aug. 19, 1894, he was forwarded to the second degree and lived faithful until death. In the spring of 1899 he moved to Idaho for his health, but the disease was too deeply seated, causing his death a few months later at the "Sisters'Hospital," Boise City, Idaho. He died in a strange land, with no loving hand to smooth his fevered brow. Jesus was with him. He leaves a father, mother, four children, three brothers and one sister. Services by Eld. Martin Replogle and Orlando Ogden in the Christian church, Cincinnati, Iowa, Nov. 6, 1899 from I Tim. 4:7,8. Interment by the side of his companion who had preceded him a few years.
