MRS. LYDIA TOBEY
Private services were Monday in the Riverview Mausoleum for Mrs. Lydia Tobey who died April 22 after a long illness.
Born in Switzerland, Mrs. Tobey came to Portland at the age of 2 with her parents and had been a resident of this area for 78 years. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry H. Staub, and other members of the family lived in the Sunnyside district for many years.
She is survived by the widower, Willard F. Tobey, retired architect; two daughters, Mrs. J.G. Macoubryz Jr., Woodburn and Mrs. George W. List, Jr., Portland; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
