Betty Louise Simpkins, 78, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, entered her heavenly kingdom at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House on Monday, May 11, 2015, with her loving family at her side. She was born March 20, 1937, in Mason County, WV, a daughter of the late John and Cora Price. She was an active member of Millstone Church, Apple Grove, WV.

She was preceded in death by her husband Chester Simpkins; daughter Collette "Kaki" Campbell; brothers, Leo, Gene, and Kenneth Price; and sister Dorothy Watson.

She is survived by her son, 3 daughters, and son in law, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren 4 brothers, 1 sister and several nieces & nephews.

The family would like to send our sincere gratitude to the caring staff at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV, and special friends and neighbors Ray and Judy Pennington.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, May 14, 2015, at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, with Charlie Dabney and Tony Stover officiating. Burial will follow at the Mount Carmel Cemetery, Gallipolis Ferry. Friends may visit the family from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, May 13, at the funeral home.
