Charleston Man Killed in Crash Near Chicago Special to the Journal Gazette ARCOLA, Ill. A Charleston office supply dealer died of Injuries received when the panel truck he was driving and a semi-trailer truck loaded with pianos collided and burst into flames at Monee Saturday at 8 p. m.

Cecil Edward Edgar, 40, was driving to Chicago to pick up office supplies. He was pronounced dead on arrival at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights. The truck driver is being treated at the hospital with fractured ribs and a possible broken back.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Charleston Baptist church, Rev. Lloyd Mart officiating. Burial will be In the I. O. O. F. cemetery near Humboldt. The body will be brought to the Shrader funeral home here after an Inquest in Chicago Heights this morning. Friends may call after Tuesday noon until the time of services.

Mr. Edgar was born in Humboldt on Aug. 13, 1913, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Rue Edgar. He graduated from the Arcola schools and married Betty Moore, formerly of Humboldt on August 10, 1935. They moved form Arcola to Charleston four years ago. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Tom, Fred and Jim, all at home.

Ha is also survived by three brothers, Russell, and James of Chicago and Clarence, Springdale, Ark.; and four sisters, Mrs. Maude Seaman, near Mattoon, Mr. Grace Wesch, Arcola Mrs. Irene Braden, LaGrange, and Mrs. Ethel Daugherty, Richmond, Va.
