Ada Lee Burke was born February 17, 1941 and departed this life Tuesday, September 27, 2016 reaching the age of 75 years. She was the daughter of the late Bessie Hancock.
She is survived by: her husband, Billy Burke; one son, Billy Burke, Jr.; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: four brothers, Kenny, Jimmy Kay, Cecil and David Hancock; and three sisters, 3 sisters, Sheila Hancock, Neva Wilson and Joan Loy; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her mother, Bessie Hancock, she was preceded in death by: one son, Wendell Hancock; and one brother, Micky Hancock.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 30, 2016 after 11 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 30, 2016 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Edwards Chapel Cemetery.
