Agnes E. Manier of Flint, age 92, passed away September 27, 2016 at her residence. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, October 3, 2016 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, G-5199 Richfield Rd., Flint; Rev. Fr. Roy Horning celebrant. Cremation will take place following the Mass. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. A Divine Mercy Service will be held at 7 PM Sunday followed by a Rosary under the auspices of the Daughters of Isabella Regina Coeli Circle #1095 at 7:30 PM. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Monday at the Church.
Agnes was born in Perry, MI on May 17, 1924, daughter of the late Frank and Amelia (Novak) Vavricka. She married Glenn Manier on May 5, 1956 at St. Mary’s in Morrice, MI and he preceded her in death on June 29, 2011. Agnes was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was a charter member of the Daughters of Isabella Regina Coeli Circle #1095. She worked at AC Spark Plug for over 25 years and a member of U.A.W. Local #651.
Agnes is survived by her children, Susan (Mark) Sherman, Anne Manier and John (Sherri) Manier; grandchildren, Steven (Jenny), Aaron (Carey), Daniel (Amanda), Ryan (Angela) Sherman, Troy (Phillip) Eller English, Keith, Travis and Kara Manier; great-grandchildren, Ada Lee English, Alex, Owen, Lauren, Chloe, Nathan, Carter, Julie, Gracie and one on the way; sister, Elsie (Bob) Tillson; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Mary, Rose and Pauline; brothers, Charles and Joe.
