Independent spirit and 45-year Larchmont resident Mary P. Frohman died April 18, 2007 at home after a long illness.

Born Portland OR, she was a Swarthmore College graduate, founding member of the Larchmont Gardens Civic Assn, and a tireless advocate for women's rights.

She is survived by daughters Sally Cohen and Nina Cohen, son Peter Cyrus and son-in-law Craig Barrows, three grandchildren, Sam, Eli and Ione Barrows and niece Lynda and nephews Lance, Lyle and Lee Frohman.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the Community Unitarian Church of White Plains. All are invited to attend. Contributions in her memory may be sent to the New Rochelle Humane Society.
