Daughter of Ann Violet "Evans" Jocus and Joseph Cwiklinski. Married to Robert Cline Sanders, they had 3 children, JoEtta Marie, Vicki Lynn, and James Michael Sanders. Her children choose Cremation. Val was the half sister of Carol Ann, Tadeus Noel, Michelle Ann, Julie Ann and Edward James Jocus. Former owned of "Cover Girl Beauty Shop" in Miller Beach. Valerie suffer a bleeding stroke due to blood thinners she was on because of poor circulation in her legs on July 18, 2016, she was recovering from leg surgery from May 19 to improve this circulation problem in her right leg. She was taken off of life support on Monday July 21 and sent home with Hospice care. Died surrounded by her family and many friends that Saturday evening. A memorial was held on Wednesday July 30, 2016.
