Grady Arthur. Smith, Jr, 88 of Fruitland Park, FL was born September 3, 1928 in Tampa, FL and passed away on September 22, 2016. He was a farmer and rancher who worked throughout Florida. He was an Alumni of University of Florida and a Veteran of the US Army who served during the Korean Confict. He is survived by his children, Debora Davis (Ron), Leesburg; Grady “Art” Smith (Carol), The Villages, FL; Leo “Clark” Smith (Carey), Manassas, VA; 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Barbara, sister Constance Sheffield and brother, Arnold Smith. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, from 10:00 to 10:30am at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel with the service to follow at 10:30am. Committal will follow at 2:00pm at Townsend Family Cemetery in Hawthorne, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army. Online condolences may be left at www.beyersfuneralhome.
