Linda Pat was born to Nev­lin E. Whybark and LaVerne Autry Whybark on November 22, 1939.
She attended Rush Springs, High School where she gradu­ated with honors in 1956. She later earned her Associate Degree in Nursing, magna cum laude, at Cleveland State Community College in Cleve­land, Tenn.
She continued her nursing education where she graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Tenn.
She spent 27 years in nurs­ing doing the work that she loved. Her last position was teaching LPN students at Metro Tech in Oklahoma City. She married Thomas Doyle Wilkerson in 1997 and retired from nursing.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Nevlin and LaVerne Whybark, brother Royce Wayne Whybark, and husband Thomas Wilkerson.
Services were held Wednes­day, September 28, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Fort Sill Post Cemetery in Lawton, under the direction of Advantage Funeral Service, South Chapel in Oklahoma City.
