Debra Sue Stephens, 63, of Arenas Valley passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 25, 2016.

Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Funeral Chapels. Graveside services will take place on, Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 10 o’clock in the morning at the Rose Garden, Memory Lane Cemetery.

Debi was born in Wyoming to Chester and Bettie (Horn) Bledsoe on April 7, 1953. She moved to Silver City in 1968 and graduated from Silver City High School in 1971. Debi went on to attend Western New Mexico University where she earned her Bachelor degree in Accounting. She was very active in Eastern Star as well as the Silver City Moose Lodge.

Debi is survived by husband of 38 years, Richard Stephens Sr.; two children, Randy (Krystal) Stephens and Richard Jr. (Sharon) Stephens; two sisters, Sharon Holloway and Gail Kress; brother, Larry A Bledsoe; five grandchildren, Dakota, Ryeann, Austin, Kody and Haley Stephens, and many nieces and nephews. Debi was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Bettie Bledsoe and a brother, Donald J. Bledsoe.
