Mr. Marvin Bailey Harper, age 72 of Vernon, FL passed away September 25, 2016 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City.
He was born January 15, 1944 in Seaford, Delaware, to the late William Arthur Harper and Virginia Viola Bailey Harper.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Harper and a son, Marvin Bailey ‘Bo’ Harper, II.
Mr. Harper is survived by three daughters, Jessica Granger of Panama City, Jeannie Harper of Vernon, Stacey Leavins and husband Terry of Vernon; one step-daughter, Star Shepard of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren, Nikki Thompson, Amanda Granger, Lisa Granger, Kevin Thompson, II, Kyle Thompson, Taylor Leavins, Bailey Leavins; two great-grandchildren, Khloie Granger and Mason Thompson; one brother, Wayne Harper of Woodbury, TN; one sister, Geraldine Brown of Federalsburg, MD; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will held Thursday 3:00 PM, September 29, 2016, in the Peel Funeral Home Vernon Chapel. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Vernon City Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home directing.
