Linda Kaye Upton of Oklahoma City born on October 10, 1954 and went to be with her Lord and Savior July 16, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerald Upton, her parents, Clyde Goodwin and Clyda Goodwin and her brother Dennis Goodwin.
She is survived by her son, Tony Upton, her daughter, Jodi Harrell, sister-in-law Susan, nephew Andrew, her sister Debbie Clark, nieces Tammi Cutler, Tammi Sloan, nephews Ronnie Cutler and wife Shelly, Freddie Clark and wife Lori, her great nieces Effie and husband Teddy, Meghan and husband Jessie, Virginia, her great nephews Ronnie, Freddie, Alonzo and Eric. She also had three great great nephews, Teddy Jr., Tucker, and Brantley.
She was a housewife and a Nanny, she absolutely adored children, they kept her going. She was a devoted Christian and attended Rose Assembly of God. She was a very loved, kind and strong woman. She fought cancer for over ten years and now her battle is won, she has her complete healing and is rejoicing in heaven. She was a true friend and will be missed by all.
Funeral Services for Linda will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 21, 2016, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, in Moore, Oklahoma. Interment to follow at Union City Cemetery, in Union City, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland and Son Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, Oklahoma.
