He was born in North Paris, March 21, 1910; the son of Leroy J Abbott and Jessie Spinney.
West Paris High School, class of 1928; married former Alma Davenport on September 24, 1934.
Survivors are his widow of West Sumner; two sons, Sidney JR and Earle; Brothers, Leroy Spinney Abbott and Hugh Warren Abbott, both of West Paris; and three grandchildren; predeceased by infant brother Stanley 1908.
