Sharon married Robert Burleson on February 11th, 1978. They had four boys – Bryan (Jessica) Houston area, Scott (Laura) Riverton, WY, Chad (MJ) Denver, CO, and Rick (Trisha) Casper, WY. Sharon was a very loving mother, wife, and homemaker. Sharon always loved having a clean home and a meal ready every night for her family. Sharon made the best potato salad and meatloaf. She immediately became one of the best salespeople and worked there for nearly two years. Sharon wanted to try her hand in real estate. In 2006, Sharon became a Licensed Realtor and started working at Exit Realty.
After her husband passed in 2006, Sharon reconnected with her high school friend Jay Larson on New Year’s Eve, 2006. They had dated and attended prom in 1977 together in Hill City. After reconnecting, they continued to have telephone contact and would fly back and forth between Seattle and Rapid City to see each other. Sharon moved to the Seattle area in September 2007. Jay and Sharon were married March 14th, 2009 in the US Virgin Islands on Sunset Beach at sunset. Sharon gained a daughter Heather Smith Cheyenne, WY, and a son Jeremy (Sheena) Larson Columbus, OH.
In February 2011 they moved from Mt. Vernon, WA, to Casper, WY, to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Sharon worked at Outpatient Radiology/Casper Medical Imaging where she enjoyed the patients and her co-workers. Jay and Sharon had 9 ½ wonderful years together and she was the love of Jay’s life.
