FUNERAL ON SUNDAY FOR HENRY R. STORY

The funeral for Henry R. Story, aged 35, of Gibsonville, who died at Tucson, Ariz., Wednesday morning will be conducted from Gibsonville Methodist Episcopal church Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Services will be in charge of the Henry K. Burtner post of the American Legion. Rev. G.W. Clay assisted by William H. Turner, post chaplain, conducting.

Mr. Story saw service in France and Germany as a member of the army of occupation. He was in the fourth corps, Pioneer Infantry. He was gassed during the war and has been ill since, being at different times at government hospitals at Oteen, Washington and Johnson City, and finally went to Tucson.

He was president of the Story Milling Company, city clerk of Gibsonville and superintendent in the Methodist Sunday school prior to his illness.

Mr. Story is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.D. Story, Gibsonville; five sisters, Dorothy, Grace, Elizabeth, Elise and Barbara Story, all of Gibsonville, and four brothers, Luther and James Story of Gibsonville and Dewey and John Story of Greensboro.

Active pall-bearers will be members of the legion post as follows: W.O. Brandon, George Younce, O.W. Duke, F.F. Bray, L.E. Allen, and C.E. Kearns. W.C. Stallings of the Drum and Bugle Corp will sound taps.

Honorary pall-bearers will be A.B. Owen, D.M. Davidson, W.J. Jennings, T.L. Saunders, J.P. Edwards, J.T. Rountree, G.B. May, P.F. Ridge, C.C. Shepherd, W.G. Broome, J.W. Burke and J.W. Boring.

The body arrived in Greensboro at noon today.
