Billy Joe Griffin, 56, of Greeneville, passed away Sunday.
He is survived by his mother: Frances Joann Tweed; a stepmother: Patsy Griffin; one son: Brandon Joe Griffin and his fiancée, Elizabeth Johnson; a stepson: Jimmy Mercer and his fiancée, Christy Green; a granddaughter: Carolina Griffin; a special brother-in-law: James Julian; three brothers: Wayne and Jennifer Griffin, Donald and Joyce Griffin, and Randall Griffin, all of Greeneville; four sisters: Patricia and Shane Steelman, Brenda Koch, Barbara Julian and her fiancé, Chris Shipley, and Paula Doutha of Greeneville; nine nieces and nine nephews; a very special friend and cousin: Terry Ricker; and special friends: Terry Sams, Haskell Stills and Chris Waddell.
He was preceded in death by his father: Harold Griffin; his grandmother: Essie Griffin; and his grandfather: Isaac "Ike" Griffin.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel Full Gospel Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Ricker officiating.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Griffin, Lynn Church, Terry Sams, Haskell Stills, Chris Waddell, Chris Southerland, John Church and Austin Julian.
