Funeral services for MandIe C. Adreon, 85, of Sibley, were held Sept. 5, at the The Church of St. Andrew, Sibley, with Fr. Clair, .L. Boes celebrating.
Interment was at the St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery, Sibley.
Walton, Roste & Vogel Funeral Home of Sibley was in charge of arrangements.
Mandie Charles Adreon was born June 29, 1915, in Sibley. to Charles Wesley and Albina Mae(Klever) Adreon. He lived in Sibley his entire life and attended kindergarten through high school. After high school Mandle was employed at the Sibley Cement Plant for a number of years.
During World War II Mandie served his country in the Army Air Forces in Italy as a member of the416th Bomb Squadron. Upon receiving his honorable discharge
and decorations Mandle returned to Sibley and again worked for the Sibley Cement Plant, a position he held until his retirement,
On June 19, 1948, Mandie married Emma Fix. After their marriage Mandie and Emma made their home 10 Sibley until her death in 1972.
Mandie died Aug. 31, at the Community Memorial Health Center in Hartley.
Surviving Mandie are three sisters, Lois Galbreaith of Sibley; Bertha West of Estes Park, CO; and Mryna Loy Underwood of Bevard, NC. Also surviving aresisters-in-law Louise Adreon of Sibley; Hazel Adreon Weber of Phar, TX; along with several nieces and
nephews.
Preceding MandIe in death were his parents, wife, two sisters, and two brothers.
