JAMIE KATHRYN HOLMES, 18, of Hixson passed away Friday, December 15,2006 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was of the Christian faith and graduated from Sale Creek High School where she was a cheerleader, worked on the yearbook, and graduated with honors.
She is survived by her father and step-mother: Malcolm Scott Holmes and Lena Holmes, and mother and step-father: Sonya Sneed and Timmy Sneed, paternal grandparents, Linda and Malcolm B. Holmes, maternal grandparents, Wanda and Robert Card, sisters: Emily and Hannah Haynes, aunts: Denise: "Jim" Peden: Stacey: "James" Barrett; Uncle: Ricky Card, cousins: Layla Peden, Ali Card, Katie Renfro, and Sommer Thomas.Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Rusty Revis officiating. Interment will follow the service at Smith-Wilkey Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 9:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
