Obituary:
John E. Westfall, 69, of RD 1, Delanson, died suddenly at his home yesterday.
Mr. Westfall retired from General Electric four years ago. He was a material handler and worked for GE many years. A World war I veteran he was a member of Barracks 934 World War I Veterans, Delanson, and the Delanson Methodist Church. Mr. Westfall was director of the Grove Cemetery Association. He lived in the Delanson area most of his life and was born in the Town of Wright.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Wood Westfall; four brothers, Allen W. Westfall, Cecil Westfall, Martin B. Westfall, of Delanson, and Omer Westfall of Carlisle; a grandson, Gary Westfall, and several nieces and nephews.
Rev. Charles Kellerman, pastor of Delanson Methodist Church, will officiate at services at 2 p.m. Monday at the White funeral home, Delanson. The funeral home will be open Sunday afternoon, and from 7 to 9 Sunday night. Burial will be Grove Cemetery, Quaker Street.
