Emmel, M.D. Memorial service at The First Presbyterian Church, Lincoln & Columbus Ave, Mt. Vernon, Sat., 1 P.M. Interment private. Family will receive their friends Friday 2 – 5 P.M. at the home of the deceased. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The First Presbyterian Church, Mt. Vernon or Boys Club, 45 No. 10th St., Mt. Vernon 10550.

Dr. Alfred C. Emmel of Mount Vernon and Mrs. Frances Calkins Smith, formerly of 1 Sherwood Terr, have announced their marriage which took place at noon Saturday in the Church of the Ascension in Mount Vernon. The ceremony, performed in the chapel of the church, was conducted by the Rev. Clarence S. Cleasby and the Rev. F. Morgan Roberts. Members of the immediate family attended. A wedding dinner followed at the Pelham Country Club. The couple will live at 55 Pondfield Parkway in Mount Vernon.
