DORIS JACKSON MANN, age 87, of Dalton, formerly of Tunnel Hill, passed away Saturday, September 24. She was born in LaFayette on November 17, 1928 to the late Edwin and Virgie Hilburn Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Mann; grandson, Brian McRae; and sister, Pauline Jackson Adams.
Doris is survived by her son, Bo (Sharon) Mann of Dalton; sister, Anna Baird of Summerville; brother, Carey Earl Jackson of LaFayette; grandchildren, Bartley Eric Mann and Captain Gregory Ellis McRae, U.S. Navy; 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held Wednesday, September 28 at 4 p.m. in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Dr. Danny Cochran officiating.
Interment in West Hill Cemetery, Trion.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 27 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
