Lula “Tackett” Bryant, 90, of Pikeville, KY passed away Sunday Sept. 25, 2016 at the Pikeville, Medical Center.
She was born October 16, 1925 at Virgie, KY to the late Andrew & Virgie Tackett.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leonard (Buster) Bryant & all her siblings; one brother, Lonnie Tackett, three sisters, Pearl Tackett, Ollie Newsome, Dixie Tackett.
She is survived by her loving children, three sons; Larry Bryant, his wife, Denise, of Louisville, KY, Gregory Bryant, his wife Terri of Winchester, KY, Ronald Bryant, his wife Barbara of Pikeville, KY; two, grandsons, James (Missy) Bryant, & Tracy (Carol) Bryant, one granddaughter, Delena (Chris) Johnson, and three great-grandchildren, Christy Johnson, Josh Bryant & Mara Bryant.
Lula was a homemaker and a long time member of the Pikeville Senior Citizens Center. She also enjoyed her many friends she made, while being a resident at Cedar Creek Assisted Living.
Lula was a a devoted mother, grandmother & great-grandmother.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will accept friends at the Thacker Memorial Chapel Tuesday September 27, 2016 for visitation beginning at 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM
Burial will follow at the Amil Little Cemetery at Virgie, KY.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home of Pikeville, KY.
