He was the husband of the late Reva Marie Crews Smoot; father of Calvin, Wayne, Mark, and Todd; brother of William, Pauline, and Katie. He had 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grand-children, and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at Murphy Falls Church Funeral Home on August 7. Interment will be at National Memorial Park.
