Carrie Davisson passed away May 28, 2011 in Stockton. Carrie was born on November 19, 1940 in Los Angeles, CA to Clyde and Gardia Woodall. She worked in the dog grooming business for 25 years, and then moved onto working as an operator for carnival concessions for 30 years. Carrie was very active in fundraising for scholarships and things of that nature. She had a passion for collecting dolls and enjoyed her roses as well. She loved animals, especially her cats and her dogs.
Carrie is preceded in death by her husband, James Davisson. She is survived by her daughters, Doris McCafferty-Robertson and Debbie Meadows, grandchildren, Heather Marin, Amanda Wilder, Amber Constantino, and Matthew Francis, and 7 great grandchildren, siblings William and Marianna, and all her extended loving family as well.
Visitation will be held from 2-8 pm, Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, Lodi, CA. Funeral services will be held 10 am, Thursday June 2, 2011 at Evergreen Chapel, Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 and Harney Lane in Lodi.
