Mr. Aaron Troy Jacobs, 24, of Lillington passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016. He was born January 8, 1992 in Lee County, the son of the late Janet K. Keene and Wayne Jacobs. Aaron loved to work on cars and enjoyed skateboarding with friends. He will be remembered for his “Happy Go Lucky” attitude. Aaron was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James G. Keene, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Kinlaw Jacobs and Jean Godwin.
Aaron is survived by his maternal grandmother, Joyce Squires Keene of Lillington; aunt, Janell Booth of Lillington; uncle, James Keene, Jr. and wife, D.J. of Lillington; father, Wayne Jacobs and wife, Angela of Dunn and special cousins, Tori, Emily and Ethan Booth and many other family members.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, September, 26, 2016 at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday at Natmoore Baptist Church in Kelly, NC. The family will receive friends at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Sunday from 6:00-8:00 PM and other times at the home, Joyce Keene.
