Belton Adams was born in Parksville, McCormick County, South Carolina son of the late Simeon H. and Lucy Quarles Adams and husband of Eva Smith Adams; father of one son, Clyde Adams from Greenwood; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Saxon, and Mrs. Leon Jackson both from Greenwood. He was retired employee from Greenwood Mills; member of the Quarter Century Club and First Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to his wife and children, he was survived by one sister, Mrs. Blondell Chandler from Greenville; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. Services were held at Harley Funeral Home on Sunday at 2 P.M. with internment in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
