Charlotta Adrienne Neil was the only child of W. W. Neil and Frances Gunn Neil of Kinmundy, IL.

She married first, Glenn W. Harlan, in Marion County, IL, January 18, 1894. They had one son, William Xon Harlan, called Xon, born January 10, 1895. He died young, January 14, 1917, while attending medical school. His mother built an ornate Mausoleum in Evergreen Cemetery to memorialize him.

LOTTA HEINRICH DIES

Mrs. Charlotta Heinrich, 84, passed away in the Wurtzer Nursing Home in Odin Sunday evening. Funeral services will be held from the Linton Funeral home this afternoon (Wednesday) at 2:00 pm; Rev. C.C. Lowe, officiating. Interment will be made in the family Mausoleum in Evergreen Cemetery.

She is survived by cousins, namely, Paulene Johnson, Kinmundy, Walter and Harry Neil, Flint, Mich., Lloyd Neil, Chicago, Frances Heil, Great Bend, Kan., Caroline, Dan, and John Gunn, of Oklahoma.

Mrs. Heinrich was born and reared in Kinmundy, the only child of William W. and Frances Gunn Neil. After finishing school, she attended the Beethoven Conservatory of Music in St. Louis. She took graduate work at the Conservatory of Music in Boston, emerging as a concert pianist. She did some traveling with her profession, appearing in several opera houses throughout the United States. She did not care much for traveling and came back to Kinmundy where she gave private lessons.

She was a member of the local Methodist Church and served as the church pianist for many years. In recent years, due to her impaired hearing, she gave up her music.
