I was there when the parents showed up and saw their daughter on the road. I can still hear the mother's scream after all these years. I can still see the father, appearing broken and sad, hold and comfort his wife. As a father of three children, including two daughters of my own, I can only imagine the deep, horrible pain the parents must have felt for the rest of their lives. Both parents died around age 59 and I think it was from a broken heart. I am deeply sorry for your loss but am comforted by the thought that you are now reunited with your loving daughter.
