Jamie Paul Holden, age 24, a resident of Orange, Texas, formerly of Deweyville, Texas, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 in Starks, Louisiana. Jamie loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, golf and his Playstation. He was employed as an Ironworker for RCI, Port Arthur, Texas. Jamie had a great sense of humor and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, James Edward Holden and wife, Carrie of Deweyville, Texas, mother, Cindy Clark and husband, Carl of Starks, Louisiana, paternal grandparents, Cecil and Sue Holden of Deweyville, Louisiana and maternal grandparents, Larry and Lorraine White of Little Cypress, Texas, brothers, Chase Charlton, Dustin Horner and Trent Black, sisters, Aubrie Holden, Brandi Woodall and Camryn Rumsey, uncles, Cecil Holden and wife, Jennifer of Vidor, Texas, Timmy Holden and wife, Malita of Deweyville, Texas, Keith White and wife Sarah of Spring, Texas, Paul White and wife, Janae of Austin, Texas and girlfriend, Jodi Turner of Orange, Texas, formerly of Buna, Texas. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, David Rumsey, Jr. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Riley Smith Funeral Home, DeQuincy, Louisiana. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Deweyville United Pentecostal Church, Deweyville, Texas. Rev. Michael Orange will be officiating. Interment will be at Hudson Cemetery, Orange, Texas. Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith Funeral Home, DeQuincy, Louisiana.
