Fern Lucille Duncan, 93, of Grayling, MI., passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015. Fern was born in Grayling, MI on April 16, 1921, a daughter of the late Alvina (Dahmer) and Perry Akers.
She was retired from Crawford AuSable Schools where she worked as a cook for 27 years. She loved baking.
Survived by her children, one daughter and two sons, 4 Grandchildren 3 great grandchildren many nieces and nephews, and one brother. Preceded in death by parents four brothers Don, Bernie, LeRoy and George Akers Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 between 2-4 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home.
A graveside service and interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in the spring. Condolences may be sent to www.sorensonlockwood.com
