W.B. Blevins, 92
William B. Blevins, 92, of 201 Grant St., Galax, died Friday morning, Aug. 17, 1984, in Twin County Community Hospital.
He was born at Whitetop Oct. 20, 1891, to Calvin Blevins and Eliza Ball Blevins. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Helton Valley Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lealer Absher Blevins one son, Harvey 0. Blevins, Galax two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Reedy, Galax, and Mrs. Esther Farmer, Rugby one brother, Andrew Blevins, Mouth of Wilson and fivegrandchildren.
The services were held Sunday, Aug. 19, at 2 p.m. in the Haw Orchard Baptist Church. The Rev. John Davis, the Rev. Carl Haga and the Rev. Dennis Arrington officiated.
Interment followed in the church cemetery.
