Bertha was a member of Beaumont’s First Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed music and singing. Bertha also loved dancing to her favorite tunes and shopping at the malls. We used to lovingly call her “Bargain Bertha”.
Bertha is survived by her children, Betty Tipton LeBlanc and her husband, James; Harvey L. Tipton and his significant other, Jeri Wood; Charlotte Ann Dixon; and Mark Wayne Dixon; grandchildren, Julie LeBlanc, Deanna Anon, Dr. James Jay LeBlanc, Carl Dixon, and Chad Dixon; and great-grandchildren, Anders Graham, Auston Anon, Pierce Anon, Alexandra LeBlanc, Evan LeBlanc, and Colby Dixon.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Orin Dixon.
A graveside service for Mrs. Dixon will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 26, 2016, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
