Bob was born at Saint Joseph's Hospital and is the younger son of John and Eva Bishop and grew up on Madrona Street in Bellingham. He graduated from Bellingham High School in 1972.
He also enjoyed Harley-Davidson's, skiing, hunting and model boat racing. Bob was a welder and boilermaker.
A farewell graveside remembrance will be held at 1:00 pm at the Sumas Cemetery. With family and friends invited to the family house in Bellingham after.
